Production worker

Since 1936, the Kaptein family business has been a major player in the world of cheese and butter.

For our Heiloo and Oosthuizen locations, we are always looking for enthusiastic colleagues for our production department. Every shift, you and your colleagues ensure that our products are correctly packaged/processed for our (inter)national customers.

Production assistant (full-time, 36 hours p/w in shifts (32 hours is negotiable)

Are you interested in manufacturing processes and possibly already have work experience in a production environment? Then this position is for you!

What happens at which location?
In Oosthuizen, we produce, develop and package processed cheese (cheese spread, smoked cheese, block cheese, vegan and industrial cheese), according to its own recipe, for all possible applications in the food industry.

In Heiloo, we package our Real Butter under the strictest quality standards, as well as under private label, for customers worldwide. The storage, ripening, slicing or grating and packaging of cheese also takes place here under one roof. From 1 to 208 slices, from whole cheeses to cubes, from young to old.

What will you do?
You will help set up the machines, pack our products, check the quality of our products and packaging and keep the production environment clean. While doing this, you will pay attention to quality, hygiene and safety. Of course, you do not have to be able to do this independently straight away as you will be supervised by an operator who will help you learn the tasks. 

Do you recognise yourself in this?

• You have affinity and or work experience in a production environment, preferably in the food sector
• You have no problem with 2-shifts
• You speak and write the Dutch language
• You can give but also receive feedback
• You can withstand a colder working environment (8 to 15 degrees)

An appropriate salary according to collective labour agreement for private cheese warehousing with irregularity allowance, 24 holidays per year and pension accrual.
