From single slice to whole cheese

From 1 to 208 slice packs, whole cheeses to cubes and young to mature, with Kaptein you will find a complete range with many packaging options. The storage, ripening, slicing,

grating and packaging of cheese takes place under one roof, at our location in North Holland. Tailored to specific requirements for retail, foodservice or industry in the Netherlands and far beyond.

1 and 2 slices

Our range of 1 and 2 slice packaging, intended for the foodservice and institutional market, consists of 25 different ages and cheese specialties!

Supermarket slices

5, 7 or 8 slice cheese packages developed especially for the retail market.

Bulk packaging

We also package our cheese slices for bulk consumers. For example, we produce 25, 2 x 25, 50 and 200 slice packaging as well as hotel blocks.

Grated cheese

We package grated cheese in packs from 175 grams to 25 kg, with a wide choice in the type, composition and dimension of the grated cheese.

Whole cheeses

We supply whole cheeses in various types, weights and specialties, including, of course, our Alkmaars Roem and Old Alkmaar!

Age has character!

Old Alkmaar is our matured cheese with Character from the cheese city of the Netherlands: Alkmaar. Prepared according to a traditional recipe in special aging rooms on wooden planks and naturally matured, just like they used to make it. Old Alkmaar is available in 3 ages: 10, 15 and 36 months.
